Rosebud2 is a collection of 600,000 historical and contemporary photographs: portraits of writers, painters, composers, musicians, plus photos of places and events in the world of culture. It is possible to purchase the reproduction rights of every image for editorial uses. Created in 2012 after the closing of the Grazia Neri agency, and it contains part of the latter s archive. However the idea was conceived previously with Rosebud, which in 1996 was the first facility to offer an online distribution of digital images of personalities and events in the world of culture. Getty and Corbis only began to sell on the web a year later, in 1997. As Rosebud1 was a premature experience on the Italian panorama it was short-lived. The 1996 spirit, which still lives in on Rosebud2, has a new format and uses last generation technologies. We offer contemporary and historical images for which it is possible to purchase the reproduction rights for editorial, web, exhibition, and event uses.
